You'll love how portable your yarn projects become with this oversized, XXL (10” diameter x 4 1/2” deep) reclaimed cherry Yarn Bowl. Crafted over a six month period; a pretty east-west warp slowly developed in the drying process. Added features include a paw-proof rim, two pools of hand smoothed bark inset with ameythst inspired sparkle inlay, hand carved yarn groove, nice cherry wood tones/grains and brillliant gloss finished with museum wax to resist fingerprints.
Two balls of yarn will roll nicely, or, you can work 3-4 smaller balls pulling from the top using a small jelly jar (shown) or cup as a hub/tool cup. There's lots of room for yarn, tools, etc., when the project is set aside. Dimensions listed are approximate. Signed and numbered; #1084 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well.
