This Extra, Extra Large Wood Yarn Bowl is spectacular! Specifically designed for larger projects with a diameter of 10" around the rim, 11" at its widest point around the middle and 4" deep, pleasingly designed in a Hopi style with gentle east-west warp (more pronounced in photos) for added character.

You'll love the sparkle inlay set into outer/inner bark layers finished smooth as silk for added interest on the back side and graceful hand-cut yarn groove.

A durable and super shiny finish is the result of fourteen rounds of hand buffing and finish with a final coat of imported museum wax added to resist fingerprints and stains.
Two large balls of worsted or a giant ball of blanket yarn will roll nicely through the groove. Or, you can work several smaller balls pulling from the top (try a small cup as a hub as explained here) with plenty of room to spare for all the extras. One-of-a-kind, artisan signed and numbered; #1091 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well.
