This extra large Cherry Yarn Bowl has two sparkling bands of amethyst inspired inlay around the rim, beautiful tones, grains and our unique star groove all in a versatile yarn tool you won't want to work without. Nice round shape with a "paw proof 7" rim rounding out to a generous 9 1/2" (middle) x 6" deep. (measurements in diameter). Circumference around the middle is around 28-1/4". Get a feel for how big this yarn bowl is here and using diameter vs. circumference.

You'll love how your smaller yarn projects become more portable with panache. Easily pop in the biggest "Super Saver" ball of 4ply or several balls of fingering or fine cotton with room to spare for small tools when your work is artfully set aside. Bob's signature "star groove" is whimsical and smooth as silk.

Made from a choice specimen of local cherry hardwood over three month period the bowl has a slight oval warp which developed during the cure. Over fourteen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the brilliant shine which made it hard to shoot photos without reflections.A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains.  Dimensions listed are approximate

One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered; #1121 with "Cherry" (species) engraved as well. A yarning collectible at it's best; this one is a very special gift or treat for yourself!
