Our innovative Jumbo Yarn Bowl with Tool Cup/Hub is our most versatile offering and not found elsewhere because we invented it! Made from a deeper-toned specimen of spalted pecan, it comes with a bonus XL glass tool cup/hub for yarn bits, snips, instructions and more. Set the cup in the center of the bowl to separate the smaller balls to keep them from rolling and tangling as you smoothly pull your strands from the top. Load it up with big full-skein balls for a portable project you can move from the living room to the den or even to the bedroom for Sunday morning coffee and crochet. 

You'll be amazed at how much this stashbuster bowl holds and how it adapts to a variety of yarn projects! Measuring a gigantic 13-1/2" in diameter (42-1/2" circumference) x 4.5" deep, it's designed for efficient top pulling of multiple balls of yarn. The XL removable glass tool cup/hub has a 3-1/2" top diameter x 4-1/4" high and doubles as a standalone piece you'll use constantly.

Twenty coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the amber pecan wood tones, silky smooth to the touch. Valued black line spalting emerged after a lengthy curing process, adding interest to the varied color tones and truly amazing grains... looking down into the bowl, the grains have depth that resembles rippling water. A final coat of museum wax is added to resist fingerprints. Artisan signed and numbered; #1208, dimensions are approximate.

Truly one-of-a-kind, Bob will not be making any more Jumbo yarn bowls –they are just too difficult!

Please note: due to its low profile, this bowl does not have a yarn groove. You'll love pulling multiples from the top with your tool cup/hub in the center!
