This "big little yarn bowl" is extra large and nice and roomy with a flat bottom bucket shape in cherry hardwood. A functional collectible you won't want to work without; much prettier in person than in these photos! Features include Bob's graceful hand-cut Fibonacci yarn groove, butter to deep cherry wood tones, and a slight north-south warp adding grace and interest. The finish is brilliant and hard to shoot the shine without getting shadows as the photos reveal.

Two large balls of worsted or a giant ball of blanket yarn will roll nicely through the groove or, work several smaller balls pulling from the top. When your project is set aside there's lots of extra space for your work, tools, etc. Over sixteen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the silky smooth shine with a final coat of imported museum wax is added to resist fingerprints and stains.
