​This XXL Cherry Yarn Bowl is nice 'n roomy for maximum versatility with a bronze sparkle inlaid rim, Bob's silky fibonacci groove, a raised base for added ballast, and brilliant gloss finish. Amply shaped: 9-1/4" dia. X 5-5/8" deep with a circumference of 30.5" around the middle, this stunning heirloom is very roomy. ​Projects are more portable with this stunning work bowl. When unpacked for yarning, two 5 oz balls roll smoothly through the Fibonacci groove after placing the (bonus!) cup hub to avoid tangling. If you use 16 oz "Jumbo"/"Pounder" skeins, load the entire skein bowl tail down and through the groove for more controlled collapses towards the end. Oversized yarn cakes and blanket yarns work well too, or top pull a few small balls of fine yarn nestled around the hub simultaneously for swift smooth pulling. Don't forget to use it for frogging! Pile your work on top when a yarning session is done and your project becomes artful decor.
Lovingly hand-crafted over four months; the unusually round shape is a bonus as fresh hardwoods can warp considerably while curing. Over seventeen coats of finish/hand-buffing bring out the rich character of the wood tones and super shine. A final coat of imported museum wax is added to resist fingerprints and stains.
