This XXL Pecan Yarn Project Bowl is designed to hold several weights/configurations of yarn from multiple lightweight balls, to a couple hefty balls of worsted to a huge ball of rug or blanket yarn all with room to spare for extras when set aside.

Over three months in the making; the reclaimed Pecan Hardwood was rough-turned, slow dried, then finished turned and hand-buffed with twelve coats of finish to bring out the buttery Pecan wood tones and interesting caramel colored accents. A band of Redheart wood ads nice contrast to the top rim. A final coat of imported museum wax was added to resist fingerprints and stains.
This functional collectible makes your projects portable while elevating your work to a new level wherever the bowl rests! Dimensions listed are approximate. One-of-a-kind, signed and numbered by the artist; #1027 with "Pecan" (species) engraved as well.

*TIP: Working with several skeins of fine yarn balls? Place a small glass or cup (jelly jars work great) in the middle of the yarn bowl to create a "hub" –6-8 balls will roll loosely around your hub without tangles as you "pull from the top". Hub doubles as a tool/snipping's cup!
